Nowa Ruda, the beautiful town, where the time has stopped.
Welcome in Nowa Ruda (German: Neurode), town in south-western Poland near the Czech border, lying on the Włodzica river in the central Sudetes mountains. As of 2007 it has 25,240 inhabitants. The town is located in Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship (from 1975–1998 it was in the former Wałbrzych Voivodeship). It is the seat of the rural district of Gmina Nowa Ruda, but is not part of its territory (the town is a separate urban gmina in its own right).

Nowa Ruda town is the beautiful and peacefull place, where is not so far to very important places. Two hours from there is Wroclaw, which is the capital of Lower Silesian Voivodeship. Nowa Ruda is located in half way throught between bigger towns of Kłodzko and Wałbrzych.

There is nearer to the capital of Germany and Czech Republic than to Polish capital - . Near there is international Polish - Czech Republic border, where tourist can cross the border to visit Broumov, which is Czech Republic province.

Nowa Ruda's attractive and picturesque location makes it perfect base from which to organize trips to the surrouding places. Furthermore, in the area of Nowa Ruda called Slupiec there is a modern sport center, with water resort, where tourist can enjoy practicing various forms indoor activities.
You can travel to Nowa Ruda from Wrocław, the capital of Lower Silesian Voivodeship. If you are going by the train you can go to Kłodzko or Wałbrzych and then by Koleje Dolnoslaskie's train. There are also some buses from the biggest cities of Lower Silesian province like Kłodzko, Wałbrzych, Wrocław.
